Ride out to Lake District in the rain.

A planned ride out with Nicola and her dad to the lake on a week that started one to of the hottest on record and it was a wet rainy Friday. Good job we are not fair weather riders..

Nicola took the Triumph Tiger instead of her Street Triple RS and off we went calling at Manor Farm Cafe for a bacon sandwich and coffee to start the day off.

Manor farm to Kendal and then onto a wet Ambleside for a spot of lunch before heading back via the stunning Kirkstone pass.

On reflection we got lucky with the weather with the rain soon turning to drizzle and some nice sunny spells.

195 miles of enjoyment.
